Corporate Governance Training at Welwitchia University

Windhoek, Namibia – [08 & 09 April 2025] – Welwitchia University Council recently participated in a comprehensive corporate governance training session facilitated by Pinotech Consulting on April 8-9. The engaging two-day program was held at the Furstenhof Hotel in Windhoek and included key figures such as the Council Chairperson, Dr. Monika Pendukeni and Deputy Chairperson. Prof. Scholastika N. Iipinge as well as the Group CEO, Dr Andreas Mwoombola. This training was designed to enhance the council's understanding and implementation of effective governance practices.

The training featured real-world case studies that highlighted common challenges and best practices in corporate governance, providing valuable insights into how governance principles can be applied in diverse contexts. Participants also engaged in practical group exercises that encouraged collaboration and stimulated discussions among council members.
