SUCCESSFUL STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT WORKSHOP ADVANCES QUALITY EDUCATION AT WELWITCHIA UNIVERSITY
On 28 April 2026, Welwitchia University hosted a vibrant Stakeholders Engagement Workshop at Thuringerhof Hotel in Windhoek, bringing together key partners, educators, and industry leaders to explore our cutting-edge academic programs. The event fostered meaningful dialogue on quality assurance, innovation, and collaborative opportunities in higher education.
The workshop kicked off with welcoming remarks from Prof. Marvin Awarab, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Commerce and Education, setting an inspiring tone for partnership and excellence. Dynamic presentations were conducted, on the proposed new programmes curricula to encourage engagement and input from the industry experts and stakeholders. The following new programmes curricula were under review: Postgraduate Diploma in Assessment and Quality Assurance in Education and Training (Level 8); Bachelor of Pharmacy Honours; Bachelor of Education in Electrical & Electronics Honours; Certificate, Diploma & Bachelor Honours in Accounting; Certificate, Diploma & Bachelor Honours in Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Certificate, Diploma & Bachelor Honours in Human Capital Development; Certificate, Diploma & Bachelor Honours in Marketing and Communication.
This workshop underscored Welwitchia University's dedication to aligning academic offerings with industry needs, promoting accessible qualifications from certificate to honours levels. Participants praised the programs' relevance in fields like pharmacy, education, business, and innovation, highlighting pathways for career advancement and national development.
